Tetrads only form during meiosis, so the previous responder is wrong. The only answer that would possibly make sense is C. If the sister chromatids don't separate, then the cell cannot divide. Both centrosomes will pull on the centromere, but it won't move. One side may break its hold on the centromere, but then one new cell would have no DNA and would die, and the other would have too much DNA and would die.
