What is the relationship of smoking to the incidence of lung cancer in different cultures?
my friend and i are having trouble with this question. Can you help???

What do you mean by culture? Smoking causes lung cancer -full stop, whatever the culture. If you are exposed in addition to mine dusts or asbestos or ....then the incidence will be even greater.(which might be influenced by culture) then passive smoking is also harmful and culture related. Then the different types of smoking have slighthly different effects -filters or no filters make a slight difference -but not much. Hope this helps a little -there are some answers on smoking and cancer in the YAHOO.

ok first of culture means country or type of place you live in right? and she doesnt smoke clearly it's a science question from school, and the answer that i think that americans smoke the most and especially young people or depressed people or some would say people with stomach problemos
