What gets burned on crusty food-stuffs off of metal without scratching or causing lung cancer

What gets burned on crusty food-stuffs off of metal without scratching or causing lung cancer?
I am cleaning my house, I need to know the best way to clean the grease-traps in my oven-burners. Electric Coil Burners, but nasty hardend drips just the same.

If this is a gas stove soak the traps with warm water and scouring powder or baking soda or a good degreasing powder (like Spic and Span, oxy clean, etc.) scrub with a plastic scrubby, wipe up whats there and repeat if necessary, then you can use a Mr. Clean Eraser pad to get the rest. For an electric stove you can use steel wool on the trays, they won't scratch or try the same procedure as with the gas stove. Soaking is really the key with some elbow grease. Good luck.

Use a grease release, like 409, Fantastic or Dawn dish soap. Now, are these electric burners or gas burners? Electric trays can be easily replaced by purchasing them from Target, Walmart, etc. Gas trays can be cleaned by putting a cloth soaked in one of the above chemicals overnight and cleaned the next morning. Use a plastic scrubber. I use a Dobie pad.

Remove the traps and soak in hot water and vinegar, use a plastic scrubber and dish detergent to avoid scratches. If it does not all come out soak in hot water and vinegar repeatedly and scrub again with soap. Keep doing this until its all removed, depending on the last time they were cleaned it might be a good idea to let them soak for many hours. Line with heavy duty foil or dollar store stove liners to avoid this problem again.

dish detergent and elbow grease..or lemon juice and baking soda or salt if you need an abrasive the salt will dissolve before it scratches, so your going to need to use a bit
5 :
powder dish washer soap, Let soak with hot water and it will come up clean.

go and get sos pads. use with a bucket of warm water and add a little dawn dish soap only.this will get all the grease off .
