Vivisection will never lead to the reduction of human suffering. In the eyes of Nature animals have the same rights as humans and some are more advanced Souls than many humans. Think twice about encouraging and supporting vivisection.

Grieving is a natural process everyone goes through. With some, they get over it quickly, with others it can take years to overcome the grief.Alot has to do with how close the person was with the deceased. My condolences for the loss. It's best to let every person grieve in their own pace and way.It also helps to greive together and give support to one another
2 :
Honestly, You may not ever get over it. My dad died almost ten years ago of Pancreatic Cancer and my Grandmother died of sepsis from post operation healing from cancer. People you love and miss you don't get over, but life gets easier as time goes on. You won't obsess over the person and their death on a regular daily basis, but you will always remember and love them. I think that is what makes us human. You don't truly get over the ones that you love when they're gone. But you will always have good, loving memories you won't want to get over. Just let time take its course and eventually you can live a more normal life. I'm sorry for your loss. I know that death is heart breaking. But with time, you can go a day or more with out the serious amount of mourning you normally would go through.

Even though the death of your uncle saddens you If you would start thinking of all of the good times with him and cherish those momements it will help get over the grief which is human nature. Always remember that he is in a better place and his pain and suffering is over and rejoice in the fact that someday you will be with him again. We are on this planet for a short time and it is only a stepping stone to something bigger and better.

Cry, scream, use a punching bag (the kind that hangs & says Everlast on it) :^) take a deep breath.... now, this is decent advice that I have learned over the years. Recently, 2 very, very dear, kind and decent people I knew (one of them was the only "grandmother" my children grew up with & was one of the sweetest people to know) the other just passed - she was around my age & had breast cancer (which spread throughout her body). you honor someone's passing by remembering them in heart & mind. I don't know why western culture thinks you need to "get over it", but I think you should remember how they touched you. remember the lessons they taught you and even the times you didn't always see 'eye-to-eye'. Talk about them with the people who cared for, respected & loved him like you do. and it's ok if they don't want to reminisce now, just like its ok those times you don't want to talk about it either
5 :
You don't get over it. It gets easier as time goes on. The first year sucks. Firsts without them. You have to keep his memory alive. Talk about him when you feel like it, talk to your family about your thoughts.

What are the similarities and differences between lung cancer and leukemia

What are the similarities and differences between lung cancer and leukemia?

1 :
Well, they are both forms of Cancer. Leukemia is cancer in the blood cells. Lung cancer is when cells in the lungs become cancerous. Here are two links that have details on both. Hope this helps! Have a good night!
2 :
both are malignant, and both are fatal if left untreated. they both can also metastasize. lung cancer is a solid tumor while leukemia is not a solid tumor, rather cancer cells circulating in your blood and bone marrow. but if leukemia metastasizes it can make a solid tumor at that site.

How can you tell if you have lung cancer

How can you tell if you have lung cancer?
I'm 13, and i have this horrible, body shaking cough. My chest, throat, and shoulders hurt allot. I'm starting to get a little numb in the top of my arms, next to the shoulders. I don't have asthma and my mom, brother, dad, and grandma all smoke. i also have a headache, if that matters at all, i've been seeing things. thank you very much. I will talk to my mom about it.

It's not as simple to diagnose lung cancer as you may think. Here is a website explaining the various diagnostic tests used to help diagnose lung cancer. However I would strongly suggest you see your physician for an examination and proper diagnosis before making any assumptions.
2 :
You have self diagnosed or presumed lung Ca. Signs and symptoms of ca lung can not be describe in nutshell. You are classical case of chronic bronchitis.go to physician and take proper treatment. You will be OK. soon.
3 :
You're too young for lung cancer even though your parents smoke. They shouldn't smoke around you. With all that coughing, why haven't they taken you to see your doctor? Somethings not right when you cough like that but you have to tell your parents about it if they don't know. I can't understand how they wouldn't know but all you need is chest x-ray and the doctor will see if you have any problems that need to be taken care of. Good luck and feel better

Well it's impossible to diagnose you without doing a physical exam, especially because the details you've given are quite vague. I'd find it unlikely you have lung cancer as you do not smoke, don't have a cough, and pain from lung cancer is usually a late presentation. Other than that it's really impossible to say over the internet - I'd say pneumonia or pleurisy are unlikely without a cough, but if it's worrying you go see a doctor. By the way, from what it sounds like I actually think it sounds like you've hurt one of your intercostal muscles. Good luck!
2 :
dude.. reply to the following questions.. 1. how did the pain start? suddenly? slowly over a period of time? 2.is the pain of the same intensity wen it started? or.. has it increased or decreased? 3.wat is the character of ur pain? stabbing? dragging? pricking? 4.is the pain radiating to any other part of body? 5.at wat time of day do u experience the pain? morning? evening? or no variation whether its morning or night? 6.can u localise the pain to any particular part of ur chest? or is it diffuse pain? if u can localise , pls mention the location in relation to ur nipple. 7.were u hit by anything or anyone on the region where u experience the pain? 8.have u experienced any unexplained loss of weight or appetite? 9.do u find any lymph nodes enlarged on the sides of ur neck or above the umbilicus? 10.if u cough, did u notice any blood streaks in ur sputum? first of all pls understand that its difficult to diagnose unless n until we see the patient in person n examine him. but i ll try coming to a conclusion if u answer those questions. remember that none can diagnose perfectly without seeing the patient n even if u r diagnosed by anyone who has not seen u in person, understand that its not 100% correct.
3 :
For YOUR sake, go to the Physician now. There is no one who can diagnose your problem on answers. The Physician can perform a scan and immediately tell you . If you do have cancer, the sooner you get treatment, the better chances are for a cure.
4 :
sounds as if you have either pulled muscle or have infection if you are still concerned visit GP or ask local pharmacist who can give advice don't know why the big C crossed your mind before more likely causes unless its something that has been happening more often wish you luck

Well a smokers clothes especially if they are a heavy smoker you are still inhaling second hand smoke. I know three things about second hand smoke. 1. It can cause Asthma 2. Can cause ear infections 3. It can cause heart diseases. Now I am not sure about cancer, but I believe it is likely.
2 :
You can get lung cancer even if you do not smoke or never exposed or around anyone that does smoke. Smoking just increases someones 'risk' . . it doesn't mean you will get it nor does it mean that even if you never smoke a day in your life or even near someone that does . . that you still can't get it. No one knows what makes one person get cancer while someone else does not. So . . no you don't need to be around a smoker at all to get lung cancer.

is it possible for never smoker/never exposed to carcinogens to develop lung cancer at young age

is it possible for never smoker/never exposed to carcinogens to develop lung cancer at young age?
is it possible for a never smoker , never exposed to second hand smoke to get lung cancer at YOUNG AGE UNDER 40,any one you heard of

1 :
Yes it is possible. I had a case of a 32 year old female who had stage 4 lung cancer and had never smoked and no history of second hand smoke. However, it is rare for someone under 40 to have lung cancer smoker or not.
2 :
Yes, it is possible though not common to have lung cancer under the age of 40 and have never smoked. In fact a primary lung cancer under the age of 40 usually would have nothing to do with smoking. If you visit the Lung cancer Alliance site you will find patients from 20 to 40 years old sharing their stories. Too, it is possible for teens and young adults to develop a primary lung cancer, though again, rare. What is more likely or common is for children, teens, and young adults to develop metatastic lung cancer (disease that has traveled from elsewhere and is now growing in the lung). Always keep in mind with cancer that there is a primary cell (lung, breast, kidney, bone, etc0 that becomes cancerous . . and than once that cancerour tumor reaches a certain size or age than it metastasizes and 'seeds' thousands of new malignant cells into the blood stream or lymphatic system. The lungs are among the most common organs where metastatic cancer will show up. 3 :
Yes it is unfortunately.
4 :
Sadly yes. I nursed a lady aged just 43 that had a very aggressive lung cancer.
