What about it? Both are conditions that will affect your life severally, and may end it, would not recommend either of them. Giving up smoking will reduce your chances of suffering from either.

Anyone can get COPD or lung cancer but us idiot smokers are greater at risk. The lung's normal functions are compromised by the garbage we put into our bodies which compromises our lung's abilities to funciton properly. Take a drag off of a cigarette and blow the smoke through a hankerchief or paper towel. . .the residue that you see is probably only a fraction of that we have put into our lungs over the years. When we compromise the bodies abilities we change the chemical balance meant to be in our bodies there for we leave ourselves wide open to a number of things. COPD and lung cancer is the way the body tells us something has gone wrong but by that time it is usually too late.
