she smokes but she is quiting she is currently doing very well but when i went on the computer today i say that she looked up symptoms on lung cancer should i be worried

Not really - maybe she was just needing some help to remind her why she should quit. Quitting smoking is hard, you should be proud of her.

No. She is probably just curious (as many smokers are) and maybe even looking stuff up like that to help motivate her to quit.
