Rarely-if ever have I seen a teen with primary lung cancer. There are teens who have cancer that spreads to their lungs like testicular cancer for boys or young men. But, never say never. I have seen all sorts of rare diseases in medicine. If you take care of yourself, don't smoke, and keep away from cancer causing agents like asbestos, your chances are very low of contracting lung cancer. Why do you ask?

It is rare for a teenage to get cancer in the lungs. When they do it is not from smoking and it is not possible to get lung cancer if your mother smoked when she was pregnant. When cancer occurs in the lungs of a teenager it is not a typical lung cancer it is usually a lymphoma or a sarcoma.
